Well, since finally completing the installation of everything with my original problem of water in my oil, and the not starting problem. I ran it on muffs yesterday off and on for approx. 1/2 hr. The oil looks good, no water! My question is: If I did still have a problem, would it have shown up right away or atleast after running her for a 1/2 hr?

From reading the posts on here of similar experiences I would say you need to run it on the water under load for that same 30 minutes to be sure. Some internal cracks or sealing problems may only manifest under duress. In the driveway is not much of a stress test, so you have to run it under load for a period of time in my opinion.
