I have a 77 Chrysler Sport Fury, with some TLC needed from the previous owner. I have some holes from bimini top hardware to fill, above grade 1/4" and some stress fx and things. What is the best stuff for this?

well i hate to see somone hanging for an answer.. so i'll jump in.. always my answer is E P O X Y !! if you want it perfect go the '' gel coat route '' . epoxy putty to fill the 1/4 holes than sand alittle an paint .. cracks,,,thin epoxy resin like west systems or whatever brand your favorite marine store carries .that goes for the putty ,also . when your there get some thin wieght ( deck cloth) fibre glass cloth .. cut cloth bigger than '' crack area'' soak in mix 'poxy lay it on area smooth it out get air bubbles & wrinkles out , this is not hard to do at all . wait over nite add on another thin coat of 'poxy to '' hide weave''. wait a couple days sand where needed wash with ammonia & paint an never have to mess with it again

If you have a true crack in the fiberglass you want to drill out at least an 1/8" hole at each end of the crack. This will prevent the crack from getting longer. You should also grind a small bit of the crack out sand the surrounding area to insure the fiberglass adheres properly. The key is preparation and take your time.

Good luck, Bob :)
