Flame arrestor help!!!

I have a 1997 sea ray with 5.7 mercruiser efi. The guy I bought it from had something rigged up and I'm trying to get the right flame arrestor for it but I cannot find one. The original part is quicksilver 806637a1 but it has been discontinued and I cannot seem to find a match anywhere. I've looked on iboats and ordered one that said it would fit my model with no luck. Hopefully I'm just having a moment and someone has an easy answer. Thanks in advance for any help.

Yes I am tbi and the threaded rod is also offset to the front

It might be the same for the MPI, can check the one in the shop if you want Sorry, the MPI wont work. You might have to get the standard one to fit the throat and redill the hole and bolt closed or pop rivet the old hole

Found several on ebay for fairly good prices and free shipping. Just do a search in boat parts. "Flame Arrester"
