Hi, does anyone know the bilge layout of my fletcher arrowhawk? Only when i shake it it is full of water on the port side and in the front under the deck, probably explaining why it doesn't have the get up and go of my mates similar boat! Down the centre is a removable plank to access the long fuel tank, but either side of this seems only to be full of foam (some waterlogged) and the water seems to be below that! Like the floor has 3 layers, top to stand on, middle for tank and foam, bottom for?!? I've tried drilling a hole and fitting a bung in the lowest centre point of the stern and had 2 gallons out, but still loads in there! Any help and suggestions on the layout would be greatly appreciated. Shall i pull the floor up either side, throw the foam, them drill down into the bottom section to pump the water clear? Ben

Sounds like it is definitely time to pull up the floor. If there is that much water trapped inside, there is likely to be some rot. This is a good place to find information on what repairs you may find necessary. Keep us posted on your findings!

studly has it. There is no way that you can drain the water out and dry it. The floor must come up.
