It may not flip but a barrel roll is very possible. Obviously a flat spin is possible too.

Got your kill switch hooked up? Do you even have one?

Whether its an airplane, car, boat, truck, tractor, -- unless it has a physical connection to our Mother-the-Earth, it can be turned upside down. Some a little easier than others. Catch a wave wrong and you can turn a row-boat upside down. Speed only adds to that possibility. To ensure it will happen -- just add alcohol.

Hey Josh, not to go off on a tangent or anything but I remember a question you had about the water hose routing on that boat.

Yes, it does run the water through the exaust logs first before the engine. I thought that odd when you first posted it but a coupla weeks ago I bought a jet boat with a Harman 460 in it and its the same way. Maybe they did that to warm the lower block since the water doesnt circulate in the block.

Pop the core hole plugs out and see if the block is full of sand. That might cause it to overheat.

yeah, you were right.
as a coincidence I forgot to drain the water out of the block and the thing froze and the plugs came out. sure enough there is compressed mud in there.
now I don't know how to get it out...was thinking about a power washer...?

Yipes! Often a freeze pushes more out than the plugs. Best check the rest of the block good for cracks.
You can hook a garden hose to the nipple at the water pump block-off and flush through there. Dig around through the core hole with a coat hanger to help break up the crud.
