Flipping my 17 foot whaler

How many friends do you think I should get over to the house to flip my boat over?

I am hearing, with no motor, a newport / montauk ( My boat is a newport ) weights 850/950 lbs

Id like to flip it over on top of some boards on blocks so I can sand the bottom.

How much weight can each person lift? 5 people with 950# is 190# each. Nobody is carrying that very far. They better be weight lifters or your boat is screwed! I'd invite 7-8 for a load that heavy. Of course, I'm an old fart who drinks lots of beer! Maybe 10-12.

If its off the trailer on the ground..then 4-5 sounds about right ..
