A guy here at work has a brand new Tempest 23P Prop for sale and I am thinking of buying it. Included is a Flo-Torq II hub with part number 835257A6. I was told from one source that this part number has been superceeded by 835257Q6. The guy selling the prop bought it years ago as a spare for his Yamaha V-Max. He can't remember if this hub assembly is to adapt the prop to the Yamaha or if it is a true Mercury fitment.
I plan to install the prop on a 1986 Merc 150XR2. Is the 835257Q6 the hub for me? What is the difference between the Q6 and the Q1? Any information is greatly appreciated.
