FLO-TORQ II TYPE HUB Prop Question

Can someone tell me if a FLO-TORQ II TYPE HUB Prop would fit my '72 Merc 115 Inline 6. It's a 3 blade, includes Mercury Flo-Torq II hub assembly kit. Part #835257A1 Size: 13 1/4 x 17. <br /><br />Also, how good would a 2 blade 19 pitch prop work with the same motor? The boat is a 16 foot fiberglass tidecraft bass boat. Thanks.<br /><br />Billy

If your propshaft is tapered near where it enters the gearcase, then yes it will fit. If it isn't tapered, then you need the old thrust hub that works with those, but with that I think it will still fit with some of the material removed from the old thrust hub where it fits into the prop. As far as the 2-blade, it'll work if the boat isn't too heavy.
