float height adjustment procedure

I need help in setting the float heights in a 91 yamaha 225 TXRP. The manual states 0.61 inches which I believe to be correct,the problem is where to measure from? The manual is vague at best,with one poor drawing. The carbs are ready to go except for this. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

measure from the gasket to the edge of the float that is facing you. you have to hold the carb upside down. bend the tang the float rests on to adjust.<br /> good luck and keep posting
