Please don't think me completely stupid but, how do I adjust the float height on my 1972 18hp evinrude, I've just installed a plastic float and its not parallel. The obvious thing is just to bend it!<br />Lee
You've got it - it's not rocket science! Just be a little careful with it as it's kind of delicate. I use a pair of pliers to make a little 'adjustment' and then flip it over to make sure it's square and parallel. If it's not then I make another little adjustment. Repeat until perfect.
