hey all
I just finished redoing floor on my 86 sea ray seville 20" ...
I have my fuel tank in the center on both sides of the tank i have 2 sealed compartments separeted by stringers from the fuel tank compartment ( at least i think they are sealed) 4 inches deep about 15 inches wide and run whole boat lenght..Now my question is ...how do i make sure there is no water ..i dont really wanna use foam..i was thinking about putting 2 more drain plugs in the transome for each of the compartments ..also i could drill some holes in the back so water would go right in to the bilge area ..should i do this or not? or maybe just leave it as it is..but like i said there is no way to tell if water sits there on not ...im open for suggestions

Thanks

Dom

Yes, By All Means.......
They're called Limber Holes........
Just Drill them a little Big, so you can Seal the Stringers from water......

Re: Floor question

thanks, thats what i was thinking about either that or drain plugs ..im not really worried about rot since my entire floor is out of plascore (honey comb) just an extra weight from all the water that might be acumulating there bothers me

Thanks

Dom
