Just purchased a PS-16-20 Misty River Aluminum fishing boat. It is sitting on a fly in lake and has been open to they weather for many years so the floor is trashed. I am planning on rebuilding the floor and interior compartments but have no idea what the structure is below the existing wood and carpet. Looking to buy material but with marine grade plywood being 200 CAD per sheet and materials need to be either flown in (summer) or moved by snowmachine in the winter it would help if I knew what the structure supporting the floor looked like to buy materials.
Has anyone else ever done a project like this and have some pictures of a similar boat without the floor so I have some idea of what framing supports the floor and how heavy a flooring material I would need. Does not need to be the same boat but similar size and make would be helpful.

Different mfgrs use different structures, so your best bet is to look for info on the same mfgr of the boat

The floor can be replaced, sealed-up - others will chime-in w specifics

Since it's a small-ish aluminum fishing boat , subject to weather, and tough to get materials in and out of the area, maybe just rip-out the old rotten floor and don't put any more wood in there?

Your choice is the guess and buy before you tear the boat apart to see what you need

Or tear the boat apart and make templates to determine what you need before you buy
