floor repair

I have a '93 1850 Tyree Grand Sport. It has some soft spots in the floor. In order to replace the floor, does the dash, live wells and everything need to be taken out of the boat or can I just take out sections and replace them? I'd rather not have to tear everything out and replace the whole floor.
