Floor restore

I am attempting to replace flor in my 94 caravelle. I am needing help on best way to remove old floor and best way to remove foam. Also any help on removing the top cap?

Leave the cap on if you can. It will help hold the shape of the hull, after you cut away the deck.

Use a skill saw set to the correct depth to cut most of the floor out. A sawzall, chistle, handsaw, sander etc to get the rest of it. Dig out the foam with a flat bar, wonderbar or whatever you have laying around.

In my signature I have a link to the project with a lot of pictures when I replaced my floor maybe it will help you to do your job, I dont think you need to remove the top cap, could you upload some pics of your boat? Hope my tipocs helps you out. We love pictures so post them to follow you about your floor replacement.

I was only thinking if pulling the top cap because the floor goes inder it about a foot and so does the stringers. From the dash to the front of boat is all one piece. I can upload pics tonight

It's a 94 caravelle 2000 BR I Will upload some pics tonight it won't let me from my phone says file to big

Krakatoa I looked at ur pics and the 1st,10th,and I think the 15th looks kinda like the front of my boat that's why I was thinking I was going to have to take the top cap off cause the floor goes about a foot or so under the fiberglass and I don't know how to replace that wood or the stringers I am trying to upload some pics but it keeps telling me that the files are to larger thanks for any help or suggestions
