But they didn't deserve it, there should have been a play-off system with undefeated Utah.

i'm not going to discuss that, just like i will not discuss the electorial college vs popular vote. it is the system we have now, and until the people change it, it stands. whether we like it or not.

Ya didn't miss much. Switching back and forth for the first 3 quarters I saw the first three scores, with a total of maybe 5 min viewing time. The forth quarter wasn't much better.......unless you enjoy defensive football. Although watching Timmy work is something to see. There's a man among boys.

Yea, they won the game last night, and I was hoping they would, but there are so many teams this year that have a legitimate say that they are #1. The bowl games knocked PSU, Alabama, and Oklahoma out of that equation. But Utah, Florida, USC, and maybe even Texas by virtue of their narrow last minute win over Ohio State can all claim they are the best team in the nation, and Utah should have the inside track ... they did beat a couple of very good football teams.

BTW, I enjoy a good defensive game ... and for those two "high powered" offenses who between them averaged over 100 points a game to be held to 38 points ... that was pretty impressive.

from the highlights i've seen it was a team game, not just a quarter back game.

It was the Tim Tebow - Percy Harvin show. Oklahoma's D-line played very well.

The powerhouse Big 12 offenses don't look so powerful outside of the Big 12 do they?

As an ex-coach of football I would have a hard time selling that we were #1 with an undefeated out there, but that is from a guy that would not send a 6-6 team to a bowl
