A couple of friends of mine have finally decided to grow up, and finally dicthed their little imports for some 4x4 trucks and SUV. Now, that they realize how different the driving can be, most of them want to go and try some off roading (Not much mudding but more terrain climbing and woods driving).
Anyone know of any good places around the Orlando area?
We actually had a good one in Kissimmee that was on a wildlife preserve, but some endangered bird nested there and they don't let you drive around there anymore. I haven't really branched out since that place was closed off, and am having a hard time finding anything.
Basically, anything within a two hours drive of the Orlando area would be preffered.

As a SoCal transplant...everything I have seen of Florida is flat as a pancake!
I miss my mountains!
Good luck

Ditto.... Moved here from SW Washington/Portland, OR, and I'm bored with the landscape. Heck, there aren't even good curves in the road, so I sold the Corvette.

I think you'd have to drive up to GA to get something bigger than a speed bump.

Used to be a lot of good places in the glades but that would be a little drive for you just to try to get stuck in the mud:D

go to the Florida Mountains, between Ocala, Palatka, Orlando. thats is where and why Lake County has so many lakes.

Kev, you will get to see the Mountains, when you come to the Camp Out.

I was looking into the Ocala National Forest. They seem to have ORV trails there, but everything seemed to be for ATV and not trucks. I will look more into it.
