i have a 1985 sunbird, that has hydrolics on the the front of the motor that pushes the front of the motor up and down which helps it to get on plane. my question is where do i put the oil for the hydrolic and what type to use.

if any one has delt with a 1985 subird, can you tell me if there is an easy way to get to the starter to change it out.

Re: fluid for hydrolic

We need more info for this but ...... Sunbird used OMC power..... 1985 makes it a 'stringer' drive ....... unit at front of motor ....... indicates 2.5 or 3.0 engine.

If I'm correct so far that is a mechanical lift sysem and does not use hydraulic oil.

Ayuh,..........

If you need Mechanical Advise,.......
We need to know What you have for Power,.....
Who made the Driveline.......

Who made the Hull, Really Doesn't Matter...........

As for Removing the Starter,.......
On Most Boats,.....
Ya need to Remove abunch of the Interior to get At the Starter 1st,........
Then it's the Usual Nuts,+ Bolts.......
