flush motor?

my boat motor is use in salt water,but when i return from fishing i am come in at fresh water ,(costal waterway)do i still need to flush the motor?

if the water is truly 100% fresh i would only flush it occasionally. but im thinking that you have to be pretty far away from the ocean to get to pure fresh water. if it is brackish water definitely flush the motor every time.
