I built a casting deck for my 14' Starcraft. I made a large hatch toward the front. It is larger than standarded hatch sizes so it is custom made. It is mainly for getting access to the fuel tank, and possible future bow mounted trolling motor battery. Well the hatch is done, but I need two flush mounted latches. I see some in typical marine cats for about $22 a pop. A bit pricy, and have looked in a couple of hardware stores for any non-marine latch, but came up empty. Anyone found a more reasonable alternative?
