Okay, I want to know what you guy think. Would I be better off using the ear muff flush unit or the built-in flush unit that is in the water pump indicator just below the cowling? Many threads were saying that the built-in flush unit was just for flushing when the engine is off but the merc. manual states that it should be used with it running (for 5 minutes to allow for the thermostat to open). Is there any problem in using the built-in flush unit or would the ear off flush that goes over the lower unit work better. I have been using the built-in one but I want to do what is best for my motor.
