Flushing 250 Yamaha 4 stroke and high speed pick up

I have a 2007 250 hp Yamaha 4 stroke and was wondering if there is a product out there that I could use to block off the high speed water intake while flushing with ear muffs on. I've been using duct take to block them off but it's a pain to do there must be something better. Thanks Robert
