flushing ? please help anyone

i have a 2001 optimax 200hp i have never slipped my boat until now the ? is can i flush my engine tilled up by using the back hose connecttion on that motor thank

There is a plug in the back of the engine pan to flush the engine. If You dont put the plug back in tight with the o ring and the plug falls out the engine will over heat. Next if when installing the hose you push in on the rubber boot you will push the boot from the engine pan and will leak water in the engine pan and cause other problems. Most people who flush there OPTI's. Install a quick disconnect on the fitting on the engine.

You can flush it out that way, just don't run it. Only flush it while running on muffs...
