flushing

had toon winterized by dealer for 3 yrs, decided to save money this year by doing myself.
unscerwed plugs to drain lower unit (yuck ) was all brown oil . can i flush it with something, if so what?

Think I would have it serviced in the spring. new pump, pressure test ect. If you think that it's water I would do it now

Flushing is not needed. The brown oil is normal so just refill with new oil and you're good to go.

Yup, what you don't want to see is milky oil, that means you have a leak, broen is good, top it off and you are ready for next year.
