Flywheel Nut Torque?

I've read recently about loose flywheels and sheared flywheel keys....made me think, I've never really checked,tightened or torqued the flywheel nut on my 1999 Yamaha 90C....how often should this be done?, Loctite?, Ft./Lbs. of torque?

Don't use locktite, you might have to get it off someday. If you are not having any problems I would just leave it alone. Surely you have heard "if it ain't broke, don't fix it"

Yep, Guess if the flywheel comes off going down the river, I'll probably know the nut was loose!
