Re: Flywheel Puller
i hope you dont have as much problems pulling yours off as i do! i fought mine for a week and finally got it off.
but if there are three threaded bolt holes around the center nut, then you need a crowfoot style puller, also called a harmonic balancer puller, you can get it from any auto parts store. its going to look like a peace symbol with slots in the centers.
best way to do it, is to spray it down with wd-40 or krol or something along those lines, let it sit over night, thread the outside bolts in good, put the center puller bolt in, tighten it down TIGHT, its going to take some force to get it off, tighten the center bolt down and smack the center bolt with a good 3 pound persuading tool, tighten down some more, smack it again, etc etc, and it should pop loose.
if not an impact wrench on that center bolt should get it loose, if that doesnt work, heat the collar NOT THE SHAFT! then apply pressure.
stay diligent, itll come loose
