Flywheel Size - Mercruiser

I have a 1991 Mercruiser IO 260 HP, 350 cu. in. engine. The engine serial number is OD448394. I believe there were two different size flywheels for this engine, a 12" and a 14 1/4". Can you tell me which size flywheel I have. I am in the process of purchasing a new starter and I believe the flywheel size matters. Does it????

Ayuh,.....
Chevy's, since the beginin' of my time, have used 1 of those 2 sizes,...
The Starter determines which is used, as some blocks are drilled for only 1 pattern...
Some are also drilled for Both starters...

If you have a staggered bolt pattern starter, it's the 14" flywheel...
If it's the straight across pattern, it's the 12" flywheel...
