Flywheel Stuck 02 125 HP Merc

Can't get the flywheel off this motor. Removed nut and washer. Have puller set up using the three holes near the center of the flywheel to pull from. Have applied ALOT of force but not coming loose. Am I missing something?

This is a wild stab, but try some penatrating oil or maybe a little heat

mercs use a special puller for the flywheel .just google merc flywheel puller

Yer missing the proper puller. Hope you haven't damaged the crank yet.

Make sure you get the one with the fine thread bolt or the genuine merc tool. I don't think Jay Smith is making them anymore but he had one with a bearing and it was the best one around. www.jaysmithracing.com
