I am going to change my wires on sparkplugs. i have to have a puller for the flywheel right? I can get like the universial puller at harbor freight. This is on a Johnson 10hp qd17 1956
a harmonic balancer puller works real well. just pulled the one on my 58 35 hp use #8 1/4x20 bolts to go into the flywheel. regular bolt will strip off.
NEVER use a puller that grabs the outside of the flywheel. It will destroy the flywheel. Only use pullers that use the three bolt holes near the hub. A harmonic balancer puller will work.
