im wondering is there a special tool to remove a flywheel off of an outboard or could you do it with a pulley puller?<br /><br />54' 15hp evinrude

I wouldn't try pulling the flywheel from the outside (like with a pully puller). I use a harmonic balancer puller. You'll have to buy different bolts to fit the three tapped holes in the flywheel but it'll work. Use at least grade five bolts.<br /><br />c/6<br /><br />Hooty
