Pulled my deck, and the foam under it is very dry. Should I yank It out anyway, or leave it be?

If you've done some core samples and are certain the foam is dry thru and thru you can leave it. Unless it will be in the way of your work, then you would need to remove it and replace when done. What type boat you working on anyway?

Center stinger is the only rotten one. And thats only for 2" in the center where someone screwed something down. The deck had 4" rotted holes all over it, again from someone screwing stuff down.

sandwich the center stringer with a piece of 3/4 ply, on each side, so it laps both ends by atleast 2 ft, glass it in, and put the deck on it.
