Foam questions

So, I recently had to rebuild the hull on my boat, and am almost to the point where I need to respray/pour the foam. I have no clue about floatation foam, and the only one's I've found are VERY expensive. What kind of foam do I need? Are there any cheaper but equal usage other foams/materials that can be used. I'm completely lost when it comes to that, please help me out.
