Foamy drive oil???

Just go my 88 4Winn 3L OMC going today on the muffs, everything went fine... check the drive oil level, and it looked foamy / whiteish, when I check the level before starting it was clear little low , filled it up and started it. I new to this stuff is this normal??? Thanks lots for your help, Gary

After it sets overnite ck it again, in most cases the oil is arreated fron running, if its still discolored in the morning I will be surprized
