Foil Question

I have a 19' Sunbird Cuddy. I want to get smart tabs but the budget is slim right now so it will have to wait a few weeks. Since the 270 outdrive does not trim am I losing performance with this foil. I don't see how it could be out of the water once on plane? What should I expect to see if I remove it?<br />

Probably does you more good than harm. Slight speed loss might be only deficit, but hole shot is likely to be greatly improved by it. Leave it until you get your tabs. I added them to my rig and best thing since indoor toilets.

That's a strange looking foil. I've never seen one bent up like that. How about trying a doel fin for $40 or so?
