Did that ever work for you when the one guy said to open an attachment in the forward mode when sending an email? I have tried it and it didn't work for me on Windows 98SE,2000,XP home version. I have had for the longest time unchecked the"do not allow attachments to be saved or open, etc etc" block but it still happens once in a while. I am told that if your ISP has a anti virus program and you have one on your own personnel PC that they could interfer with each other and cause attachments to happen. Too much safety I guess. Have you heard of that before? I tend to beleive it as it seems to happen only(attachment filtered) when someone else has the same ISP as I do. What are your thoughts?

They were 2 really interesting links you sent me Xcusme for me to read up on. Found them really interesting and have done what they say to do quite awhile ago. I would say it has helped 98% so the other 2% I will live with. I am sure it has something to do with my ISP's virus program, mine and someone else that has the same provider but another virus program different than ours. They must conflict some how and cause these attachment to be filtered at times. I can live with that now but you know how some little things bug you to no end but you also must let it go and that's what I will do. Thanks for your help! :D

Sorry malibu4u. I just saw this post. I've been a bit pre-occupied this last week and a half.

My problem was cured by de-selecting the "do not allow attachments~~~~~be a virus". This box is found in Internet Explorer under "Tools, Options then the security tab"
