I decided I don't need an expensive cover to keep the leaves, dust and bird poop off. Got this module tarp for $75. Looks redneck I know, but it should do the job as good as a $300 cover. It has ropes to tighten it down where the green meets the white and at the bottom of the white. I plan to attach some HF heavy duty spring clamps to the C-purlins and clamp it to the roof when we take the 'toon out.

What is really good is a factory travel cover. Many manufacturers make a cover tp protect the pontoon for shipping between the factory and the dealer. The dealer usually tosses them when they prep the boat for sale. They are surprisingly well put together and would likely last 3 or 4 years if not subjected to heavy snow that I deal with. I had one from Tracker. It had tie down straps, a cinch strap and sewn to fit with soft felt on the inside at the contact points. Maybe check out the local dealer.

Thanks, care to elaborate.

You bet. If it's in constant contact with the upholstery it will eventually (and most likely indelibly) stain it. Easy to prevent now that you know you need to.;)

Again, Thanks Incoop! I could build some of the PVC pipe stands to hold it up off the seats. The upholstry is in bad enough shape I'm not too worried about stains, LOL!! New seats are in the future. I just don't know when until all this financial turmoil is over with, if ever.

Thanks for the idea about the module tarps....where I live there plenty of cotton gins and I know lots of farmers, and I don't care what it looks like either as long as it works.....was also looking at your shed...thinking about building me on similar to that

I use an outdated billboard. They are very durable and UV resisatant.
If your lucky you get one advertizing Hooters or some strip joint.
