I`m selling my 1998 Force 120hp to my neighbor.My motor is a 25in shaft.The one hes replacing is a 1992 model with a 20in shaft.My question is are the lower units/driveshafts/shiftrods of these two years interchangable?The 5in spacer needs to be removed so can he just bolt up the 92 lower unit?Also I notice the electronics look different.Does the 98 hook up(wiring) any different?Thanks in advance.
