Hi all, i need some advice about the standart size for Force 120 engines (1996) prop, the one i have is bad and need to be replaced.

Do you guys have any ideia for the for the diameter and pitch that comes with the engine.

I did a search and found the Amitas 3 blades to replace the old one, but what size should i choose ?

thanks in advance GMV

Re: Force 120 propeller

That engine has a Mercury lower unit. I don't remember if the prop is the same diameter as the older Force engines. It is probably 13 inch diameter and it will be 15 spline. Best to go to the local Mercury dealer and ask, then buy online. As to pitch, it varies with hull size, weight, load, and whether you intend to ski or wakeboard. It varies with application.

Re: Force 120 propeller

My 1996 18' Bayliner Capri with a 120 Force used a 19" pitch, 14.25" diameter 3 bladed prop that was perfect for the boat. WOT was 5200 RPM which is the manufacturer's max recommended RPM for your 1996 Force.

Re: Force 120 propeller

Hi guys, thanks for reply...., to be honest i haven?t test it at maximum RPM, because the prop a bit damaged, but i could get around 5000 very easily, i supose it can go around +/-5500 rpm with this one !

Any considerations about the 4 bladed props ?
