Hello,

Im having problems with my 1990 bayliner force 120. It seems to start ok and idle somewhat ok (but smokes from exhaust) when using ear muffs but when I placed the boat in water, it idled for about a minute, stalled, and I could never restart. Im guess theres not enough power to push the water out of the exhaust hose/port?? Or should there even be water there? I can feel the water is about 4 inches below the metal exhaust manifold.

I have a decent fuel leakage (like a dripping faucet) when running that I cant find that may be lead to clues??

Any help would be appreciated..thanks!

Where is the fuel leaking from? Is the motor flooding out?

Hello,

I cant seem to locate the fuel leak. Ive checked the obvious like hoses, fuel pump and around the carbs. It appears to be somewhere under the engine. Ill have to try to get mirrors and hope I can spot it.

Sometimes the new cranking motor cant turn the flywheel likes its frozen. I can remove the plugs and it seems to help turn. Could be compression issues?
