Need some help guys.
I tried to start my engine today, engine turned over but would not start, fuel is going to carbs, there is spark at the plugs, took all the spark plugs out and they are dry?, I have 2 year old fuel, at least half a tank. This engine has not been started for the last 2 years. If the tank has to be drained how do I do this. (Trophy Bayliner with cuddy cabin).

Thanks:D

Re: Force 120

Sounds like the needle valve /float is stuck.
You can remove the carb and clean. Or tilt the motor all the way up and then squeeze the ball till gas comes from the carb.Sometimes this makes the float/needle let loose.Either way the gas should be watched real close. The entire system needs looking into.Ethanol is a bummer.J

Re: Force 120

Around these parts we don't trust fuel that's even 6 months old because of
the water issue. If it where me, I'd look that fuel system over very closely.
What happens if you spray start fluid directly?

Re: Force 120

I removed both of the float bowls, removed the jets and cleaned (float bowls moved up and down,so they werent sticking), replaced inline fuel filter. checked linkage between each carbs to make sure they are working in tandem. One turn of the key and she fired up, after 2years not being started, it runs good and the fuel seems to be ok.

Another satisfied customer:D

Thanks
