I was out on Loch Lomond yesterday and whilst trying to trace a loose wire which was causing the engine to drop a cylinder we found it and all was well.
At least so I thought, there was a slight knock which was speed related and a couple of minutes later followed by a bang and the engine died and failed to turn over.
It was tight to turn by hand and assuming the worst we arranged a tow back to base.
I have yet to pull the head off and investigate but rekon it sounded like big end noise. I have sourced someone breaking a force 120 on e bay and was wondering if engine internals are interchangeable between the 125 and the 120.
