I have a 1986 125 hp force with terminal strip style wiring. My question is why do both CDI boxes have two wires going to the terminal strip and they dont go to any other wire. I have 1 original CDI box which these wires are green and the other is orange, and the new CDI box which is CDI brand from IBOATS has a white with red stripe and a white with yellow stripe. This is the way I bought the boat. It has ran smooth a time or two which makes me belive this is o.k. Also where can I find a wiring diagram for both style CDI boxes. The color coding dont match on my old box compared to my newer style box. Thanks!
