Good day,

On my used Bayliner I have US Marine Force 125 HP engine. I am having a hard time finding the correct prop for it.
All kits that I could find for this engine include a hub and a prop. I tried Amina and MIchingan Prop:992115 Hub: XHS-202

However there are problems:
1) While the splines are fine, the nut is couple of sizes larger. I can reuse my old nut but I have no idea why the nut in the kit for this engine would be larger
2) The props "spokes" (the things that connect the prop hub to the prop rim) are too close to the end on the engine side so they rub against the inner round (I don't know what it is) thing that goes inside inbeween the rim and the hub.
3) If I use a spacer to move the prop further away from the LU so it doesn't rub, there is a large gap between the prop and the housing and there is not enough room for the nut.

I did install the washer and what not. But without grinding and doing all other brutal manipulations I can't install the prop.
On one of the sites I found that this particular engine can have through prop and not thorugh prop exhaust. Also dual exhaust etc. However, I have no idea what kind of lower unit I have and if this has to do anything with the problems I am having.

The prop that came with the boat (and is currently destroyed) has an integrated hub and is 13x19. And the prop fits perfectly. I doubt though that this is the original prop for this is is a 31 year old boat.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

You need to determine what YEAR the motor is. There are multiple configurations for Force outboards and if you use the Prop selector in the iBoats store you will see that the models vary from year to year. I remember going thru this with a friend about 20 years ago.

Welcome to iboats!
