I have a Force 125 '84 last year it started to lift the motor slower then normal. This year it is VERY slow. It will run 2 - 4 seconds with nothing then it will lift the motor with out problems.

I am not sure if it is low on fluid? How do I check this? and what type of fluid does it take?

Can the motor be rebuilt ?

Thanks,
Larry

Re: Force 125 Lift motor

soiunds like corroded connections.

if it has rust a good rebuild is going to cost as much as new. properly rebuilt the original motor is higher quality than any available aftermarket. improperly rebuilt it may not even be as good as chinese.

Re: Force 125 Lift motor

Motor runs great, just slow lifting.
Is it easy to rebuild, can I do it, who has the rebuild kit or do I need to bring it in to someone to have it done.

Thanks,

Wires go into the motor, then that sits of top of the reservoir??
It has a screw on the side of that plus also has a few tubs running to the piston.
What kind of oil do I need to put in. I took out the screw but no oil came out, maybe I can take that it is low of oil.

Re: Force 125 Lift motor

the manual should advise you of how to fill and with what oil for your engine. I didn't think they made a 125 in '84 so I can't really say if you need iso32 or nd30.
