I have a 1988 force outboard 125 on a 18ft bayliner. At 3000 rpm the motor starts to surge and rpms will jump up and cut in and out. What coulld be causing this i cleaned the carbs,checked for air leaks,ruled out that its not fuel related,it has good spark on idol,i pulled each plug as it was idoling and the rpms seemedd to drpo a lil as normal. Someone told me that it could be my cdi box not getting enough juice at full power, could this be it?
