Force 125 new rebuild starting tips

I have a boat I just rebuilt the motor, I have never even started a boat like this before. I have the water muffs to hook to my garden hose, and plan to get gas and oil to mix tonight. Any tips on the starting procedure? Put in neutral, pump bulb until firm and just crank it over?
I have never seen this motor run before, I am told starting it off the hose like this is gonna be loud.

so fast idle as in forward throttle, but no gear? is this "choke key" on the throttle handle?

The throttle: either pulls out or has a button on the side to make it throttle up with out the gears engaged.
The key switch has a choke function built in.
You turn the key and push the key in, holding it until it fires or starts.
​Once you get a fire from the motor the choke usually doesn't need to be used again. (maybe)
