I just bought a 1972 glastron with a 125 force guy says the motor is early 90's but im not sure on exact model. The trim/tilt was removed due to failure and he said couldnt get the motor tilted up to get it home. would it be worth trying to fix the tilt or should i just buy a whole new system? the motor top was left off and it is in poor shape. I dont think it would be fixable. Where could i buy a whole kit for my exact motor so i could just bolt it on? or could i just buy the motor itself?

also can i just run a pin threw it and run the motor without the trim? i can get in the water and let it down and put it up. i just want to make sure the boat runs ok. the guy said he ran it without the tilt/trim but i wouldnt want to without putting a pin/shaft threw the adjusting holes.

Yes you can run it with just a tilt pin in place, but you may not be able to go in reverse if you don't have a reverse lock to keep the motor from climbing out of the water.

No, you can't use the pt35, will need the pt130.
PT35 only good for 35hp motors and smaller.

I have seen a couple of these installed, and several members here have them, it includes everything you need, except for some sealer for around the bolt holes.
