force 125 water muffs on engine running low pressure

i have a force 125 that has been giving me fits since last year with power. now this year I put in a new impeller and hooked it all abck up and I have low water pressure and water was coming out on the three little holes near the mounting bolts on the bottom.

What year? I don't use muffs for that reason. I use a big Rubbermaid tub, that way as long as your impeller is good it will send plenty of water for cooling. I think your starving you motor of water, you should have water coming out of the two hole on the back mid leg. There should be a nice stream at idle. One more question, did you put the key back in with the impeller, if not it won't pump any water.

If you have enough water pressure from the hose??
And the impeller and housing was installed right.
You should have water comming out a few places.
The holes on the mid section.
The snout on the rear of the drive.
Then the misc.weep points on the drive.
You sure the copper tube is still sealed at the head?
Pull the drive and check,hook hose to the tube,low pressure,flashlight,look up inside.Shouldn't be any water leaking up around the coppertube.
The old impeller? Was it in pieces?

ok key is in and water pumping up but a small spitting amount. I am going to try water container first before next comment. I will get back to you all. Thank you for the quick responses.
