Force 15 HP 1991 Thermostat??

Model # 152F91A overheading. Impeller OK. Does this motor have a Themostat? Get conflicting info from parts sites. If so where is it (not readily visible anywhere)???

Plate under impeller has slot that can go to port or starboard sides of engine- can this affect flow?

The thermostat (if you have one) is mounted on the mid leg. See dig. below.

Looks like diag. below shows it going to port.
