Hi Guys,<br />I have a 1991 Force 15 hp (Sears Gamefisher). The thrust bearing went bad and caused the forward gear not to engage. I tore down the gear case and replaced the bearing. Now when I try to run the motor cranks and idles fine, but in forward gear when I increase the throttle above idle the motor starts jumping around. It feels like a gear problem , but when I went back into the gear housing everything seems to be working fine. Any suggestions? Thanks, I am rather new to tinkering on outboards.
