Force 150 Thermostat

I have a 1990 Force 150HP, new to me this spring. Like others here when I tested the boat there was no tell tale coming out only smoke coming from the two holes that look like nostrals. I'm going to change both the impeller and thermostat. The thermostat I got from iboats mega mall 18-3553, the only one listed, is smaller and hotter than the one removed 143 degrees vs 130 and about the diameter of a quarter vs a half dollar. Will the 18-3553 work and is there a pee hole on the 150?

I found a link that says that thermostat will work for your motor. if you want the 130 degree one here is the merc number for it<br /> F664068 and the gasket is 27-828319. The gasket is about 2 bucks and the thermostat is about 14 dollars.
